Equilibrium

“Life’s challenges are a state of equilibrium. The trials and tribulations are constantly pulling us in one direction or another. Just like a tree trunk and its branches we strive to reach a point of balance. As we go through life we weather the storms, just like trees, but we continue to grow and become stronger.

Unity

“Just as in life we are made up of different characteristics such as size and colour. We are individuals but we stand together in Unity. A field full of different tree types makes for a beautiful sight as the colours intertwine, they stand side by side in Unity.”

Wellspring

“When we are thirsty and in desperate search of water we seek out signs and cracks in the earth until we reach the well spring. The water droplets represent the fountain of water which are surrounded by crackle which represent the earths cracks. As you move away from the droplets the crackle dissipates.”

Unity

“Mangroves are unique because unlike other trees, they can tolerate salt water. They often grow near, or even in, saltwater. Insects have evolved over time to look like mangrove twigs and leaves. The flowers of black and white mangrove trees produce nectar that can be used to make honey. As thick and thin branches intertwine they form a display of strength.

Immortal

“The gingko distinctive fan-shaped leaf carries a symbolism along with its singular beauty. The gingko has been a symbol of longevity and can live a thousand years. Four gingko trees survived the blast at Hiroshima and are still growing today. They are truly immortal.

Royal fan

“The royal fan is a representation of the fan bearers that would often stand behind royalty. Not only would they shade royalty from the solar glare but also they would also protect onlookers from the brilliance of the king or queen. Blue lotus leaves and date palms were commonly used.

Resonance

“Life’s journey is like that of a piano keyboard. As we venture through life we hit flat spots as represented by the black keys. We need black and white keys to create beautiful music.”

Maturity

“As with life we grow, evolve and mature as we get older. The leaves of trees also blossom and flourish through the stormy weather.”

Solitude

“The state of being alone doesn’t mean that we are isolated. It can be a time for personal reflection. A time to truly appreciate all that we are to be thankful for. The branches may look isolated but they are surrounded with go

Courage

“Strength when faced with adversity is an act of courage. The horse represents a picture of strength. Often at times we will use a horse as a support mechanism to help us transport heavy loads. The help us lessen the burden on our shoulders and allow us to show courage.”

Autumn

“During the 3rd season of the year, when crops and fruit are gathered, the leaves fall. It’s represented as the beautiful time maturity rather than the early stages of decline.”
